I have been involved with world music for many years, and have sung in several vocal groups, each singing music from different places in the world, from Bulgaria to Georgia to South Africa. For example Papaya , FRIGG and UNNA.
Respect for the songs
I always treat the songs with deep respect for the traditions, culture and history. Some songs are so sacred that they must not be passed on outside the vocal groups. However, we have happily been allowed to share and spread most of the songs here in Denmark. I will do my best to give you the full history and background of the songs we deal with in the workshop, so that you can carry them on with the same respect and love.

You don't need to have worked with this genre before. I will guide and teach you the singing technique it requires.
